About Brock

Hello! My name is Brock Smith and I am from Jackson, Tennessee. I am currently a Senior majoring in Biology at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I am an active brother of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity Zeta-Phi Zeta chapter here at UTC. I am passionate about film, music, sports, and my fraternity. I am constantly in search of a new movie to watch or band to listen to. I have begun to play guitar myself while in college and would love to make short films one day or maybe even science based videos. I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and video games as well. I want science to be more accessible to the general public and less intimidating to the average citizen wanting to learn more about the world around them. It is crucial that people are able to learn about the relationships of how every organism interacts with one another and our ecosystems. I am currently in an ecology lab and I want to be able to effectively communicate scientific facts and understanding to anybody who wants to improve their life by learning how everything is connected.
